PRAYER REQUEST

The warm July sun warmed my face. I settled back and tried to get as comfortable as I could on the wooden bench. My husband pointed to a lady across the park, sitting by herself. "Let's go sit beside her." I shook my head and explained all the reasons we should stay right where we were. Not having any of that, he marched across the sidewalk, introduced himself and waved for me to join him. When I got over there, he pointed to the lady and said, "you need to sit beside each other. You have a lot in common." I remember thinking, how could he know that he just met her. I sat beside her, exchanging information. I invited her to speak at Womens Ministry, and she invited me to tour Samaritan's Touch Care Center, where she has been the executive director since it opened over two years ago.
That's how my own personal God story at Samaritan's Touch began. On a park bench. Since that time, Diana shared with me, when she realized I was a writer, she asked the Lord if I was the one HE sent to write the story.The answer to that is yes. At that time I shared my story with her. While we were in Kentucky visiting friends, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart, in the middle of the night. He told me He wanted me to write a book about Samaritan's Touch and call it God Stories.
Each person volunteering at the clinic has their own personal God story. Since I have been interviewing the Chaplins and doctors and a few of the staff members, I realize how amazing our God really is. HE has orchestrated each persons involvement at the clinic. He has chosen each of us for a specific need.
I am asking that you say a special prayer for me this week, that I will be able to prepare the proposal in such a way to give all the honor and glory to the Lord. I feel blessed that HE has chosen me to write HIS story. I need your prayers to guide my hand, my eyes and my heart in the direction He wants me to go. Pray I will follow where ever HE wants me to be.
The first day I visited the clinic, I did so with tissue in hand. I was emotionally overcome by the enormous amount of God Stories.
Every single penny from this book will go to Samaritan's Touch Care Center to help us continue to serve our Lord.
Please pray that God's will be done.
He is an amazing God and I want to honor Him.
