Welcome Home--To Me

September 8, 2009

Hooray--we're home. While we had a wonderful time visiting family and friends, there's no place like home.
While I was away from my computer, because I thought it would be a good idea to rest, some horrible person hacked into several of my accounts. I'm still upset that someone would do that. The internet is a wonderful thing, unless something like that happens. I guess it happens all the time, just never to me.
Not only were my accounts hacked, I was almost involved in a scam. Someone from London impersonating a minister, inviting me to speak. When I checked him out on Google, I learned what a scam artist he was.
I'm not sure but maybe the moral to this story is, "don't leave home without it", your lap top.
Aside from that we had a fabulous time. We spent quality time with my 92 year old Dad and we also spent time with my precious sister and her husband, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and then very dear friends in Kentucky. In all we were gone about ten days.
I'm ready to tackle my latest WIP, hopefully I'll be ready to send it to a publisher in the next month.
To all of you who ask me "if I've finished anything they can read", I hope to be able to tell you soon.
Thanks for your love and support. And thanks for reading what I write.
I love you all
