BEFORE THE SEASON ENDS
May 24, 2009
I just finished reading BEFORE THE SEASON ENDS by Linore Rose Burkard. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. Ariana Forsythe is a lovable young lady who arrives at her wealthy Aunt's townhouse in Mayfair, London. Caught up in a scandalous rumor involving her with London's formidable bachelor, Miss Forsythe charges ahead with tenacity and wit. I laughed out loud at her antics and cried at her fears and disappointments. Ms. Burkard successfully takes us back to 1813 England. I'm quoting Ms. Burkard, "Inspirational Romance for the Jane Austen Soul." I read this book from cover to cover, surprised by the unexpected turn of events. I give this novel a five star rating. Her second novel is also on the shelf now. The House in Grosvenor Square---can't wait to read it.
