HAPPY SEPTEMBER

September 8, 2008

My Grandmother said to me once, “The older you get, the faster time flies”. Ha ha---what did Grandma know! When I thought that I was sixteen and waiting for my drivers license. Now that I’m, well I’m NOT sixteen anymore, that dear, precious lady was so infinitely correct.
I need to start packing to head back to Florida. It seems that I just unpacked. Our kids were home from Colorado this summer, just days after we arrived home from Florida. Then we hosted American Christian Fiction Writers-Ohio at our home. We have visited our sister in Kentucky many times.
I have been working on my certificate through Toastmasters International, just so I can become a better speaker. My husband says I talk all the time, I remind him that’s NOT the same thing as being a “good speaker”!
I learned last week that one of my poems, My Husband, My Best Friend, is going to be published in a special edition of an anthology series entitled: “Voices- A collection of Love poems.” I am getting lots of requests to publish my poems in a book of my own. I think the Lord may be working on that one HIMSELF, because I didn’t plan to write poetry. In fact, when I sit at my computer ready to “work” HE comes up with another poem!
My other good news for the month is you can now read my blog on FACEBOOK. If you aren’t familiar with FACEBOOK, it’s a Christian network. And lots of fun. If you get a chance check out my blog at:
http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewblog.asp?AuthorID=83394
or:
www.facebook.com

In fact I’ve been logged on to FACEBOOK this morning instead of working!
If you would like to subscribe to FACEBOOK click on the LINKS tab at the left and it will take you there. Another freebie! Doesn't cost a thing AND it's fun!

Another note, I am getting about 500 hits a day on my web site. I started in April getting less than 100 a WEEK. Isn’t God GOOD—ALL THE TIME.

Finally I want to thank you so much for subscribing to my newsletter. I can’t express how much you mean to me.

Blessings and love to all of you, my dear and faithful friends.
