Nothing makes me happier than to have a reader email me and tell me that something I wrote inspired her (or him). When that happens I know I heard God's still small voice that morning. I pray before I write every blog, or every newsletter. I always pray for HIS intervention. For it is then I know HE already knows what HE wants me to say and HE also knows who HE wants to read that newsletter or blog. We serve an awesome God. A loving God. One who will never leave or forsake us. A non-believer asked me just the other day, "how can you believe in a God who lets bad things happen to good people?" I responded, "God doesn't say our lives will be easy, or things will always go our way, or in other words, not always the way we planned. However what HE does say is in Joshua 1:5 ...."I will never leave you nor forsake you."

I also wonder why bad things happen to good people and why good things happen to bad people. But I never question God's glorious plan for me, and his plan for you too. It is also written in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." That is what each of us has to hang on to "a future", a place in heaven beside our Heavenly Father. So hold on to the hope my friend. And know that I'm sending you a hug today.
